How do I generate a knockout draw?
Open the app, switch to Names mode, paste or type one player per line, then choose Byes or Prelims. The full bracket is generated automatically and updates live as you type.
What's the difference between Byes and Prelims?
Byes rounds up to the next power of two and gives some players a free pass into round 2. Prelims rounds down and adds qualifying matches before the main bracket, so everyone reaches the same starting size.
Can I print or share the draw?
Yes. Once names are entered, tap Print draw to send it to a printer, or use the share button to export a PDF or send it through your favourite app.
Are my players' names stored anywhere?
No. Everything stays on your device. The app does not collect, transmit, or store any data on a server — see our privacy policy for the full picture.
Does it work offline?
Completely. BowlsKnockout has no network requirements and works the same whether you're at the club, at home, or anywhere else.
